Wisconsin Lutheran College, out of love for our neighbor as modeled by Jesus Christ, and in compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, does not discriminate and will not tolerate discrimination or harassment of anyone on the basis of sex in its education programs and activities.
In keeping with our identity as a Christian institution, it is the policy of the College to provide an educational, employment, and business environment free of all forms of discrimination or harassment. Discrimination or harassment based upon one’s race, color, religion, national origin, age, veteran status, or disability as defined in this policy and as otherwise prohibited by state and federal statutes is prohibited at the College. Further, in some instances, God’s Word, as understood by the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and the College, requires the College to conform in ways that may conflict with certain regulations and implementing Title IX, as interpreted by the Office of Civil Rights (OCR) and other state and local laws. The College also prohibits all forms of hazing. This policy applies to all College students, faculty, and staff, to other members of the College community, and to all contractors, consultants, and vendors doing business or providing services to the College.
If you are a victim of sexual violence or harassment, get to a safe place, seek medical attention, get support, and consider your reporting options.
